Job Description

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Assistant Fashion Designer to support our clients design team in bringing collections to life. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of fashion trends, excellent design skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities Include:

Assist the lead designer with the development of seasonal collections, from concept to final product.
Create sketches, technical drawings, and mood boards.
Source and select fabrics, trims, and accessories.
Prepare and update tech packs and specification sheets.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and patternmakers.
Participate in fittings and take notes for adjustments.
Conduct market and trend research.
Maintain organized records of all design work and materials.
Assist in preparing for fashion shows, photoshoots, and client presentations.

Requirements:
Diploma or degree in Fashion Design or related field.
3 years of experience in a similar role (internship experience considered).
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
Knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and fashion production.
Strong drawing and digital illustration skills.
Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Passion for fashion, creativity, and a strong eye for detail.
