Fleet & Yard Management

Oversee daily fleet planning for the depot and support Gauteng branches.

Manage idle days, stock levels and ensure balanced distribution of vehicles.

Supervise vehicle movements, ensuring cost efficiency and timely rotation.

Ensure yard operations are organized, secure and compliant with standards.

Operations & Facilities

Manage refueling protocols, ensuring all vehicles are fueled according to policy.

Oversee wash bay operations, valet machinery, compressors and other equipment, ensuring regular servicing and repairs.

Maintain depot infrastructure including boom gates, fencing, lighting and road surfaces.

Ensure the "ready-to-go" fleet is available and presented to rental standards.

Staff & Outsourced Workforce Management

Supervise depot staff and outsourced teams, ensuring attendance, timekeeping, productivity and compliance with policies.

Manage leave planning, payroll submissions and performance appraisals.

Conduct monthly reviews with outsourced service providers to ensure alignment with budgets and service standards.

Supplier & Compliance Oversight

Manage suppliers for chemicals, detergents, and operational machinery, ensuring quality and cost efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company policies, licensing regulations, and health & safety standards.

Oversee regular stock takes and audits for vehicles, consumables and chemicals.

Reporting & Administration

Ensure completion and accuracy of compliance and operational reports (fleet utilization, availability, idle days, OOS vehicles, open movements, etc)

Monitor and report on depot performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective measures.

Maintain staff organograms, and compliance records to audit-ready standards.
