What is an apprenticeship?
An apprenticeship is a structured training programme that integrates both practical and theoretical learning in designated trades. Upon successful completion of the programme and the associated trade test, individuals are awarded a nationally recognised artisan or trade qualification. This certification enables them to be employed as qualified artisans within both the public and private sectors.
Why do an apprenticeship?
Go straight into practical training for a trade.

Requirements:
Successful completion of Grade 12 (Matric) or an NQF Level 4 equivalent qualification
Mathematics as a completed subject
Willingness to commit to a 36-month apprenticeship programme
Ability to reside away from home for extended periods (e.g., two months or longer) for college-based training
Demonstrated interest in, or aptitude for, a technical career path
