The Application Specialist in Gauteng region for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for providing field applications and technical support to customers in the diagnostic laboratory environment also this position is responsible for repairing, upgrading, moving, and maintaining all analyzers operational in the diagnostic laboratory or research environment. This is a support function to the company and the levels are maintained 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in line with the service provided by our customers. Main KPIxe2x80x99s are service effectiveness, administrative compliance, and preventative maintenance visit completions.

This position is part of the Service Department located in Gauteng and will be remote & onsite.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

o Design and develop product specific training on various Chemistry/Hematology/Immunochemistry equipment.

o Delivery of technical and customer training to internal and external customers

o Provide customer training on new and existing product technology.

o Application support to customers and engineers

The essential requirements of the job include:

o Qualified Medical Technologist with a proven experience track record

o N. Dip Medical Technology or B.Sc. Biomedical, B. Med Sciences or equivalent

o Experience in Chemistry/hematology/ Immunochemistry essential.

o Train the trainer or equivalent certification

o Experience in laboratory management and student training

o Proven experience in the full training cycle i.e., needs analysis, curriculum design, training delivery and evaluation.

o Proven experience on Beckman Coulter Chemistry/hematology/ Immunochemistry analyzers

o good understanding of Chemistry/hematology/ Immunochemistry principles

o Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

o High level of computer literacy

o Highly organized and ability to multitask.

o Ability to travel domestically and internationally for work.

This job is also eligible for 10% on Target bonus/incentive pay.
