Job Description
Job Summary We have a position available for a AMS Consultant in the Klerksdorp area To qualify for this position, you will require: A Bachelor's degree in agriculture, Agronomy, Engineering, or a related field. Preferably a qualified John Deere technician. At least 3-5 years of experience working in the Agricultural industry, specifically with John Deere equipment and technology. Strong technical skills, including knowledge of hardware and software systems. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. The duties expected of the successful applicant are as follows but not limited to: Providing technical support to customers and dealers on agriculture equipment and technology, including the John Deere AMS product line. Receive D-Tac queries on the John Deere system and resolve them. Respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical issues via phone, email, or in-person. Diagnose equipment and technology problems using technical knowledge and resources. Conduct equipment and technology inspections to identify potential issues and make recommendations for maintenance or repair. Keep up-to-date on new product releases and features to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to equipment, software, and hardware. Identify and isolate issues in equipment, software, and hardware systems.
