Job Description

Are you a born sales hunter with proven experience in the aluminium industry? Do you thrive on building strong client relationships and closing deals in a competitive market?
Our national client based in Killarney Gardens requires a driven and results-oriented Sales Representative to join their growing team.
This is not a desk-bound role--you'll be out in the field identifying opportunities, chasing leads, and growing a strong pipeline of business.
REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric,
  • Valid drivers license and own transportation
  • 3 - 4 years' experience in a similar industry
  • Exceptional customers communication and relationship skills
  • Strong closing sales skills and meeting sales targets
  • Customer relationship skills
  • Target and deadline driven
DUTIES
  • Reporting to the Branch Manager
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail clients within the glass and aluminium industry.
  • Promote and sell a range of products including large glass panels, custom-cut glass, and related aluminium solutions
  • Identify new business opportunities and actively grow the customer base in your assigned territory
  • Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs, provide product recommendations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Negotiate pricing and terms in line with company guidelines to close deals and meet or exceed sales targets
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product development
  • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to management on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with internal departments (production, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth delivery and after-sales support
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and product training sessions as required to stay updated on product offerings and market developments.
  • Manage time effectively, planning routes and appointments to maximize daily productivity and territory coverage
