is a boutique Airbnb located in Durban North, surrounded by the beauty of the Indian Ocean. The Airbnb has a 10 self catering Apartments/Suites. We're looking for a reliable and experienced Co-ordinator to help run the Boutique. The ideal candidate has worked as a Front Desk Manager or Co-ordinator, speaks excellent English, and is computer-savvy;
Guest Satisfaction:
Ensuring overall guest satisfaction by promptly addressing their concerns and feedback, enhancing the guest experience during their stay, and striving to exceed their expectations.
Communication:
Establishing clear and effective communication with guests to provide information, answer queries, and handle any issues that may arise throughout their stay.
Response rate:
A response rate no longer than 60 minutes is required with each guest communication to ensure timely responses to guest queries.
Linen Management:
Overseeing the timely and efficient arrangement of clean linen, towels, and other essential amenities to maintain a well-prepared and welcoming property for incoming guests. Working hand in hand with our Director.
Key Exchanges:
Coordinating seamless key exchanges with guests, whether in-person or through digital means, to facilitate smooth check-ins and check-outs.
Housekeeping Coordination:
Managing and coordinating housekeeping services to ensure the property is maintained in a clean and tidy condition between guest stays.
Maintenance & Oversight:
Keeping a keen eye on property maintenance by performing ad hock inspections and promptly addressing any repairs or issues to uphold the property's quality and safety standards. Report and arrange maintenance work when applicable.
Listing creation:
Create the listing for the properties.
Property automations:
Create automations for properties to reduce workloads.
Property inventory:
Create inventory lists for all properties that we have onboarded.
Digital Marketing:
Promote our new properties on Instagram, Facebook etc
Reviews and Feedback:
Proactively seeking and responding to guest reviews and feedback to continuously improve service quality and property offerings.
Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12
Certificate or relevant tertiary qualification in Administration will be advantageous
At least 3 years' relevant experience in administration
Experience in the tourism / hotel industry would be advantageous
Extensive experience and understanding of working with Booking.com and Semper
Experience with costing (i.e. food items)
Point of Sales experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good financial / numerical understanding and skills
Professional appearance, demeanour, and conduct
Good computer skills (MS Office: Word and Excel)
Well-presented, reliable, and professional
Able to work 6 days a week (including weekends)
Salary - R10 000-R12500 p/m (Neg)
