About the Role
Macmillan Education - South Africa is looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to enter the working world and is hungry to learn and gain industry knowledge in the exciting world of publishing. In this one year internship you will assist the sales team and get hands-on experience as well asA industry exposure in the publishing space.
Role Responsibilities
Assist the sales team in generating leads and prospecting clients.
Assist with packing and sending sample materials to Regions/National Sales team and schools
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
Help maintain database by updating customer records and tracking interactions.
Participate in sales calls and client meetingsA
Support the preparation of presentations, proposals, submissions and reports.
Help coordinate sales campaigns, product demos, and exhibitions.
Perform administrative tasks as needed.

Experience , Skills & Qualifications
Matric or Undergraduate degree in publishing studies or other relevant field
Good communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiencyA
Ability to problem solve
