Working hours:

Monday - Friday 13:00 - 18:00 & 2 Saturdays per month from 09:00 - 14:00

School holiday hours:

Same as above / Slightly Flexible (If the candidate is available to assist full day during the holidays, additional compensation will be provided for any extra hours worked)


A family is looking for an AU PAIR for their daughter

3 year old - Girl

Duties:

Collect from school, take to extra-murals, assist with and supervise homework, run general family errands, grocery shopping on your behalf, engaging in intellectually stimulating play & activities with child, bathing your children, prepare meals for your children, occasional Babysitting and weekend work (by prior arrangement), travel with the family

Special Requirements:

The ideal candidate must be Afrikaans-speaking with well-spoken English, playful and outgoing rather than shy or reserved. She should take initiative with the child and communicate any observations or recommendations to the parents. While she may be young, she must be responsible and mature, a non-smoker and non-drinker, and physically active--able to keep up with a high-energy child who loves trampolines and active play. The role is best suited to someone who can be a fun, older sibling figure rather than a strict parental type, and who is able to commit long-term, ideally for at least the next 12 months.

Start Date and contract term:

ASAP - permanent

Salary:

R12 000pm (Gross, before deductions) + SARS rates per km (R4.76)



All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
