What You'll Do
Manage and grow portfolios with key insurers Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with insurer partners and stakeholders Monitor portfolio performance, analyse trends, and implement targeted
action plans
to drive profitability Prepare and managefinancial and management reports
, ensuring accurate data for decision-making Overseeunderwriting policies and claims processes
in collaboration with insurer partners Ensure smooth monthly operations -- including reconciliations, payments, and reporting cycles Support and develop theservice advisor team
, fostering a culture of motivation, accountability, and service excellence Participate in planning meetings, strategic meetings, and product improvement initiatives Identify operational gaps and work with internal systems to improve efficiency Mentor claims and underwriting consultantsWhat You Bring
5+ years' experience in short-term insurance portfolio or account management
Higher Certificate in Short-term Insurance (NQF 5)
Strong analytical, financial, and reporting skills Excellent relationship-building and negotiation ability Proven communication skills inAfrikaans and English
Knowledge in insurance systems Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or Insurance (advantageous)FAIS-compliant
andRE5 certified
