Job Overview As an Admin Clerk/Stock Optimiser in Training, you will play a vital role in supporting administrative and operational functions within a dynamic, sales-focused environment. This entry-level position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience within the glass industry while contributing to a culture of service excellence, safety, and collaboration. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level administrative and operational support to enable focus on strategic priorities. Assist clients professionally and empathetically, including those who may be distressed. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across various levels and on sensitive matters. Support the team with administrative duties such as data entry, document management, and reporting. Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships and delivering excellent customer service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient coordination and completion of tasks. Utilize computer software applications to perform day-to-day duties efficiently. Work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced sales environment. Uphold and promote company values through teamwork, respect, and accountability.
Requirements Minimum of Grade 12 / Matric qualification (post-school certification in Administration or related field is advantageous). Previous administrative experience or exposure to stock/inventory functions preferred. Strong computer literacy and familiarity with office or ERP systems. Energetic, mature, and self-motivated individual eager to grow within the glass industry. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. Commitment to upholding Glass Partners values of service excellence, teamwork, and respect. Skills Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities. Proficiency in computer software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite). Positive attitude, professionalism, and willingness to learn.
