Well established business seeking experienced Accounts Clerk, to report into Group Financial Accountant.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF ROLE:
Responsibilities include keeping financial records updated, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements.
REQUIRED OUTPUTS: FUNCTIONAL
- Processing all bank related information
- Responsible for accurate and timely reconciliations of multiple bank accounts.
- Processing of payments and receipts on Pastel
- Data capturing of bank related information
- Monthly filing
- Attend to queries and ADHOC duties from time to time
- Knowledge of VAT (value added tax)
- Matric or equivalent
- Finance related diploma advantageous
- Minimum of 5 years financial administrative experience
- Solid knowledge and experience of reconciliations in particular bank accounts.
- Ability to work and think, both independently and in a team environment
- Adapting and responding to change
- Good communication skills
- Good numerical skills analytical and practical
- Good time management skills, methodical with attention to detail
- Be computer literate MS Office package especially Excel,
- Pastel Evolution
- Deadline orientated willingness to work overtime if required
