Bull & Bush meat merchants is looking for a full time Accounting Officer.

Job Role & Requirements:

2-5 years of accounting / debtors experience.

An accounting qualification will be advantageous.

Must be able to complete a full debtors function. Invoices reconciliation for missing PODs and file. Compile the age analysis and send statements to customers accordingly ensuring all accounts are paid up. Ensure that no orders are released for customers who have exceeded their threshold of credit. Must be able to deal with customer queries on accounts and follow up with bad debts. Issuing of credit notes required for stock return, weight claims etc.

Must be able to process all management accounts (P&L, BS).

Must be able to allocate Debtor & Supplier payments.

Must be able to do Reallocations of accounts and remittance.

Must be able to do Internal Bank capturing and Pareto Marketing bank capturing.

Must be able to effectively use the required software to process journal entries, provision schedules, Update VAT reconciliations, update tax computation & check for accruals needed.

Must be able to do VAT Reporting - check accounts and correct allocations for VAT return.

Must be able to do Monthly Payroll Pareto Marketing & generating payslips.

Must be able to assist with Cash flow schedule, interest schedules for vehicles, loan accounts reconciliation for the directors, Budget vs Actual reports, Wastage schedule review.

Must be able to assist with ordering stationery and general administrative duties.

Must have a strong computer literacy and excel proficiency.

Must be able to work under pressure and execute tasks as instructed. Must be able to see tasks through to completion.

Must be reliable and trustworthy.

Must ideally stay in a location close to Sandton.

Pay: R15000,00 - R20000,00 per month
