We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Accountant in the Support Services department. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health and transparency of the organization. By leveraging your accounting expertise and attention to detail, you will be essential in ensuring accuracy in our financial procedures and supporting the continued success of our group.
Essential Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Financial Accounting is required.
- Computer Literacy is a MUST.
- Familiarity with Autoline and Evolve software platforms will be considered an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Oversee Support Services VAT.
- Efficiently manage the processing of centrally paid expenses for various groups
- Administer oil rebate and SDL distributions.
- Prepare invoice amounts dedicated to subsidiaries.
- Handle ICT costs this includes calculation, processing, and resolving queries.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of journals and provisions.
- Oversee fees and verify deals.
- Supervise rebates and conduct reviews of rebate schedules.
- Review bank reconciliations and manage petty cash reconciliations.
- Calculate interest for intercompany loan accounts.
- Maintain fixed asset registers.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis for accounts.
- Perform ad hoc tasks related to group management accounting and tax, including preparation of tax schedules.
