Accountant

to join our team at a leading charter brokerage. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting our local financial operations while also providing vital assistance to our international team based in Dubai.

Raising sales invoices Maintaining financial reports Posting purchase invoices Dealing with queries from suppliers Posting payments and receipts Bank Recs / Cash Control Month End & other reports High volume transactions Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations Meeting processing and reporting deadline

Qualifications

Fluent in English, strong written and verbal communication for local and international collaboration Degree in Accounting or Finance , relevant qualification required Strong numeracy and analytical skills, confident working with financial data and reports Highly organized and detail-oriented - accuracy and attention to detail are essential Intermediate Excel skills, comfortable with formulas, pivot tables, and spreadsheets Able to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Quick to learn, adaptable and able to pick up new systems and processes efficiently
