Job Title: Accountant



Location: Gauteng East, South Africa

Responsibilities:

Collate, prepare and analyze financial reports and statements for management decision-making Oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Provide support during external audits and tax filings Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics of the company Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets Handle any other ad-hoc financial tasks as required


Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CA, CIMA, ACCA) is preferred At least 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the automotive industry Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
