Job Description

RedCat Recruitment is seeking an experienced ACCOUNTANT / BOOKKEEPER for a national concern, position based in Camperdown, KwaZulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle.

BCom Degree in Finance or Accounting is a requirement.

Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous working experience on Caseware and Pastel Partner is essential. QuickBooks experience an added experience.

3yrs+ previous working experience in an accounting firm environment.

Preferably some farming client background experience.

Capture supplier invoices, debtors invoicing, import bank accounts and coding.

Extract VAT 201 reports, complete and submit VAT 201 returns on SARS eFiling and set up payments for clients to authorize.

Calculate PAYE, UIF and SDL, complete and Submit EMP 201 returns.

Ability to work with Easy File, reconcile EMP 501s and attend to submissions (both on eFiling and Easy File).

Complete workmens compensation returns, liaise with the compensation office for queries, statements, and invoices.

Assured navigation with SARS eFiling

Preparation of annual financial statements independent reviews and compilation using Caseware.

Preparation of Income tax returns for trusts, close corporations, companies, and individuals via SARS eFiling.

Person must currently reside in the Pietermaritzburg / Camperdown or surrounding areas.
