Account Manager Relational

What you will enjoy doing

As the Account Manager, you will manage customers in the Diamond and Mining sector, the role combines technical expertise, product specific skills, and account management to support the Mining Industry's unique applications Weekly visits to build and maintain strong relationships with procurement teams, engineers and operational managers You will promote Industrial Gases and Hardgoods used in mining processes such as explosive manufacturing or blasting support, metal cutting and welding; mineral processing; water treatment and environmental control and identify new opportunities and negotiate price increases and supply agreements You understand the customer's mining processes and recommend appropriate gas solutions; offer technical advice on safe and efficient gas usage, delivery modes (cylinders, bulk, or on-site generation), and compatible equipment; assist with regulatory compliance and safety standards related to gas handling and storage Professionally, provide ongoing customer support, monitor gas usage, and ensure timely deliveries; conduct site visits, resolve service issues and offer process optimization solutions through the MI team and compile and maintain customer files and GSA's in SFDC Furthermore, you will track market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback, report on sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline development

What makes you great

You possess a qualification in commercial, business or marketing You have gained at least 3 to 5 years of sales experience on customer and asset management A code 8 driver's License is essential You have strong sales communications skills and technical knowledge of gas products, welding and mining applications and familiar with safety standards
