Requirements



A relevant 3-year B-Degree in SCM, Procurement, Logistics

or related field.



5- 8 Years relevant experience in evaluating and/or

overseeing the evaluation of public sector tenders.



2 years supervisory experience. Experience in evaluating and/or overseeing the evaluation

of complex Public Sector Information Technology (IT)



tenders, in line with public sector laws and regulations will



be advantageous.



Computer literacy: MS Office Suite.

Key Performance Areas



Applies a body of professional knowledge (MFMA,

CIDB,PPFA,BBBEE,SCM regulations, Bargaining Council,



General and Special conditions of contracts etc.) coupled



with experience to develop and implement a full range of



programmes systems ( SAP RFQ portal, web base



programmes, SharePoint, etc) policies and practices within



the Department/ Branch to effect service delivery to clients



and give effect to initiatives, project system and polices



undertaken by the Department/Branch



Manages, coordinates and controls the implementation of

systems, procedures and controls relating to the



management of the tenders/bid and contracts management



processes



Directing, guiding and advising project managers on the

tenders/bid process



Controls and coordinates the consolidation, processing and

presentation of functional procurement research and



information in support of departmental planning and



decision-making process as well as supporting the



operational output



Gives advice on the legal and compliance requirements to

line department and stakeholders with regard to the



implementation and SCM Policies and procedures



Control and coordinate staff in terms of the

implementation of work procedures, standards



and performance outputs and ensure that these
