Anova Health Institute is participating in the Youth Employment Services (YES) programme, aimed at reducing Youth unemployment levels and building a future that works. The YES programme provides a one-year work-based job and training experience aimed at affording unemployed youth practical and meaningful work opportunities. Anova Health Institute invites applications from unemployed youth, graduates and scholars who are between the ages of 18 and 34 years to apply for the programme.

Opportunities for workplace exposure are available in various locations under the City of Johannesburg namely Diepsloot, Ivory Park, Ebony Park areas, Zandspruit, Cosmo City, Braamfischerville, Orange Farm, Thembelihle, Freedom Park & Lenasia areas and other locations to be identified by management if the need arises. Successful learners will be placed in administrative positions subject to Anova management discretion.

Programme Requirements

• Grade 12 as a minimum qualification.
• Child and Youth Care Work Qualification i.e., NQF 4 Child and Youth care work
• Registration with South African Council for Social Service Professions Advantageous.
• Must be unemployed.
• From 18 to the age of 34 years
• Persons with disabilities will be required to provide a medical certificate confirming the nature of the disability.
• South African Citizens in possession of a valid South African ID will be considered.
• Applicants must not be registered or involved in other experiential learning programmes for the duration of the YES programme.
• Applicants must not have previously registered and completed a YES programme.

• Have strong family and other support systems.
