About the Role

We are looking for a

highly capable Workshop Manager

to lead daily operations in a busy automotive workshop. This role is ideal for someone with

strong project management skills

You will be responsible for ensuring efficient workflow, high-quality workmanship, excellent customer experience, and consistent profitability.

This position offers a

competitive basic salary plus a commission structure that is more competitive than the market

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate daily workshop operations to ensure smooth workflow and on-time job completion Plan, prioritise, and allocate work effectively across technicians and bays Oversee job cards, parts ordering, turnaround times, and quality control Handle customer communication professionally, including updates, approvals, and issue resolution Monitor KPIs such as productivity, efficiency, comeback rates, and profitability Work closely with ownership/management to implement systems, improvements, and operational projects Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and compliance Lead by example in a high-pressure environment and resolve problems quickly and calmly
Required Skills & Experience

Proven experience in

automotive workshop management

or a senior automotive supervisory role Strong

project management and organisational skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously High level of adaptability and problem-solving ability Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong attention to detail and operational discipline Computer literacy (job card systems, invoicing, workshop software advantageous)
