Job Description
We're looking for a dynamic Workshop Foreman to lead our clientxe2x80x99s busy workshop and ensure top-notch service and repair quality, aiming for customer satisfaction
You'll be responsible for efficient resource utilization, staff supervision, and maintaining relationships with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Staff Management:
- Ensure staff is trained for optimal efficiency and quality.
- Fairly allocate jobs to technicians.
- Supervise tests, equipment use and document security.
- Manage cross-departmental relationships.
- Focus on improving profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Prioritize health and safety measures.
- Adhere to defined limits of authority.
- Secure customer property and account for all materials.
- Monitor equipment, documentation and materials.
- Oversee job progress and authorize requisitions.
- Implement health and safety procedures.
- Add fixed rate units to job cards.
- Maintain control over sublet suppliers for cost-effectiveness.
- Qualified Vehicle Technician with a Trade Test Certificate.
- 3+ years of Workshop Foreman experience in a dealership.
- Previous premium brand experience is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license and clear criminal record.
- Stable work track record.
