Job Description
TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Workshop Assistant within the Trade division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.
Job Summary
This job involves assisting with basic equipment maintenance and repairs; cleaning parts and the entire workshop; organising all tools and stock; and conducting physical stock counts.
Responsibilities and Duties
Assist with basic maintenance tasks and repairs on equipment Load and off-load equipment safely and efficiently Clean and prepare parts and equipment for servicing Organise and store tools, parts, and consumables in the workshop Conduct physical stock counts and report discrepancies Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the workshop and yard area Ensure proper waste disposal in line with workshop standards Comply with safety regulations and company procedures at all times Be available to work overtime or weekends when operationally required
Qualifications and Skills
Matric / Grade 12 Good verbal communication skills Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Physically fit and able to handle manual labour Reliable, punctual, and honest Able to work independently and as part of a team Basic mechanical interest or aptitude will be an added advantage
