Job Description
Job Summary RESPONSIBILITIES - A Workskills Instructor is responsible for imparting skills and knowledge to a group of adults with intellectual disability (who are medium in functioning) in a structured environment through the practical repetition of activities and lessons. - The Instructor also imparts OLM practices and principles to our Trainees to enhance their skills - Must have the ability to work with customer products in satisfying costs, quality and schedule requirements - Conduct trainee assessments twice a year - Regular communication with parents regarding progress of trainees - Positive behavior management - Maintain quality standards and perform regular inventory stock control REQUIREMENTS 1. Previous experience in a similar environment. 2. Ability to work within a team environment 3. Passion and patience in working with adults with intellectual disability 4. Ability to apply problem solving methodology 5. Excellent interpersonal skills 6. Be very proactive with good communication skills 7. Honesty & Integrity 8. Accommodating and supportive 9. Matric, with being fluent in English and one other SA language 10. Able to use technology such as InShot to support our Hybrid training mode 11. Drivers license REQUIRED 12. Present a covid-19 negative test 48 hours before possible employment.
