Job Description
Job Summary Key Responsibilities:
- Assist qualified artisans in daily maintenance and repair tasks
- Participate in preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Perform routine inspections and report equipment performance
- Learn and apply relevant health and safety standards
- Support with mechanical or electrical installations, fabrication, or diagnostics
- Maintain tools and equipment used in the trade
- N6 Certificate or completed S4/National Diploma in the relevant field
- Must require P1/P2 or in-service training to complete the qualification
- Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
- A passion for mining and engineering-related work environments
