We're looking for a deeply experienced WordPress architect who has mastered the art of high-performance, conversion-focused development - someone with at least

10 years

building at the bleeding edge. You've crafted bespoke themes that load in milliseconds. You've built custom plugins that power million-pound businesses. You know how to make WordPress sing - and you're not afraid to push it beyond its limits.

You'll be trusted to take ownership, make fast decisions, and deliver flawless digital experiences across a global portfolio. You'll be backed by a sharp, international team spanning the UK, South Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. And you'll have access to best-in-class tools, infrastructure, and talent.

We're looking for someone who:

Has

10+ years of proven WordPress mastery

- custom theme development, plugin architecture, WooCommerce customisation, and everything in between. Is a

performance obsessive

who lives and breathes Core Web Vitals, can optimise a site to load in under 2 seconds, and knows every trick from critical CSS to lazy loading to CDN configuration.

Understands conversion-focused development

- building experiences that don't just look beautiful but drive measurable business outcomes through smart UX, A/B testing, and data-driven iterations.

Leverages modern development practices

- Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, headless architectures, and isn't afraid to integrate WordPress with React, Next.js, or whatever cutting-edge tech serves the project best. Has a sharp eye for

pixel-perfect implementation

and can translate high-end designs into flawless, responsive experiences that work seamlessly across every device and browser. Works with urgency,

debugs complex issues quickly

, and takes full ownership of the entire stack - from server configuration to front-end polish. Has experience with

luxury or premium brands

, understanding the technical requirements of sites that need to handle high traffic, complex integrations, and deliver flawless experiences to discerning audiences.
