Key Responsibilities:

Curate and manage the wine list, with a strong focus on local Stellenbosch and South African wines.

Guide guests with confidence in selecting wine pairings to complement their meals.

Ensure proper storage, stock rotation, and presentation of wines.
/p
p
Conduct wine service with elegance and attention to detail.
/p
p
Assist in training the service team on wine knowledge and recommendations.
/p

Requirements:

A strong passion for wine and food pairing.

Formal wine training or certification (WSET, Cape Wine Academy, or similar) advantageous.

Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant or similar environment.

Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.

Well-groomed, professional, and service-oriented.
