Job Vacancy: Welding / Piping Superintendent
Report to: Operations
Seniority Level: Mid-Career 8 years' experience
Region: Mpumalanga
Location: Secunda
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise welding, fabrication, and piping teams
- Plan and coordinate work activities
- Ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
- Conduct inspections and verify weld procedures
- Enforce safety standards
- Liaise with project managers and clients
- Review drawings and isometrics
- Ensure project completion within scope and budget
- Trade Test in Boiler making or Welding; N3 or higher qualification
- Minimum 8 years' experience in piping and welding supervision
- Proven ability to lead teams in industrial environments
- Knowledge of QA/QC processes and relevant codes (ASME IX, API, etc.)
- Valid medical and site certifications (advantageous)
