Water Plant Process Engineer - RnadfonteinWe are looking for a graduate engineer with a BEng in Chemical Engineering to drive innovation and efficiency in our processes. The ideal candidate will play an important role in assessing, designing, and optimizing water treatment systems, while ensuring strict adhering to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will need to manage cost constraints and part take in maintenance planning.Duties:Assess processes, take measurements, interpret data.Design, run, test and upgrade systems and processes.Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and quality of output.Perform process simulations and troubleshooting.Manage Company and plant cost as well as time constraints.Perform risk assessments.Create process documentation and safe operating procedures.Oversee and assess existing processes and workflows.Optimize productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.Write reports to document process status an changes.Assess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards.Write monthly reports and invoices.Take part in weekly plant maintenance - planning and execution.Optimization of plant recovery.Plant automation.Perform any other reasonable activity as instructed by management .Stand in for Supervisor or Operators Shift if and when needed.Provide support (in person and/or telephonically) to site teams, as and when needed.Requirements:BEng Chemical Engineer DegreeFully Complete Vaccination CertificateOwn Reliable Vehicle and Valid LicenseClear Criminal RecordWilling and Able to Work UndergroundRSA CitizenMS ExcelMS PowerPointMS Outlook1 year experience in process simulationsAdditional Requirements:Energetic, smart workerExcellent technical skillsFamiliarity with health and safety regulationsEnglish (professional, written and spoken)Self-motivatedSelf starterAnalytical thinkerInterpersonal skillsStrong attention to detailIdentify, assess and solve problemsOut of the box thinkingAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to show empathyMotivate co-workers and employees where requiredJob Type: Full-timePay: R24,000.00 - R25,000.00 per monthEducation:Bachelors (Preferred)Experience:process engineer: 1 year (Preferred)Language:English (Preferred)Ability to Commute:Randfontein, Gauteng (Required)Ability to Relocate:Randfontein, Gauteng: Relocate before starting work (Required)
