In this position you will join our Waste Management Team to work on exciting projects that will challenge and enhance your current skillset. You will join our team, to work on some of the industry's leading projects and maintain customers sites to the best of your ability.

The team's primary role is to push the boundaries of innovation, incorporate sustainability in how we deliver solutions to our client. We know the work we do is vital in assisting our client's sustainability objectives and, it's the technical expertise and the depth of knowledge of our people that really sets us apart. Here are the key activities you will do to enable these outcomes as well as the minimum requirements for the role:

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 12 years relevant working experience (with at least 3 years in waste management).

Project management and organizational skills

Leadership and people management skills including development and mentoring of junior resources.

Experience in providing solutions for alternatives to landfill disposal / zero waste to landfill / waste minimization / circular economies.

Experience or knowledge of waste management facility design, construction, decommissioning and rehabilitation as well as financial provisioning calculations, would be an advantage.

Experience with integrated waste management plans and development of waste strategies including feasibility investigations.

Working knowledge of the National Environmental Management: Waste Act and other related legislation and their application to projects.

Project management skills including financial management of integrated projects.

People management skills and development and mentoring of junior resources.

Quote & calculate costs on new & current customers.

Bookings daily with planning for the following day.

Site sorters to be looked after.

Running entire Operations department.

Fluent in Afrikaans
