Job Description


Warehouse supervisor, Modderfontein region.
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the general operations of the Inbound Warehouse staff and daily activities
  • Tracking and coordinating the receipt, storage and timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Checking orders, bills, items received, inventory and deliveries for accuracy
  • Organise and maintain inventory and storage areas
  • Determine staffing levels and assign workload
  • Communicate job expectations and coach employees
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employees performance
  • Ensure basic maintenance standards and compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Perform daily inspections of the warehouse grounds
  • Coordinating and maintaining equipment
  • Perform weekly cycle count and quarterly stock counts
  • Consistently apply established quality policies, procedures and processes to ensure a competitive quality culture
  • Continuous action and maintaining of Good Housekeeping principles that ensure a strong quality ethic that meets cGMP requirements
  • Practice xe2x80x98good documentation practicesxe2x80x99 at all times
  • Ensuring all BMRxe2x80x99s/ logbooks and checklists are completed on time
  • Perform any other reasonable task delegated by management
Minimum Requirements:
  • Diploma in Logistics or related qualification
  • Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
  • Experience in a Pharmaceutical environment (advantage)
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
