The Stock Control Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing inventory management, warehouse operations, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods in and out of the facility.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and leadership ability to maintain accurate stock levels and optimize warehouse performance.
Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management
Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all product categories.
Implement stock control systems to minimize discrepancies and losses.
Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure accuracy.

Warehouse Operations
Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Optimize storeroom layout and storage systems for efficiency.

Team Leadership
Manage and train warehouse staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
Ensure customer satisfaction by establishing, monitoring and managing operational goals
and building relationships with the customers to ascertain needs and preferences.
Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide feedback.
Develop staff schedules to meet operational demands.

Reporting & Analysis
Prepare regular reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and warehouse performance.
Analyze inventory trends and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to align stock availability with demand.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Proven experience in inventory control.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of logistics, distribution, and supply chain processes.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Working Conditions
Based in a warehouse environment with regular exposure to physical activity.
May require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet operational needs.
Involves collaboration with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments.
Performance Indicators
Accuracy of stock records and reporting.
Reduction in stock discrepancies and losses.
Efficiency of warehouse operations (e.g., order fulfilment times).
Staff productivity and retention.
