A Warehouse Manager is required to supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations within a fast-moving order fulfilment environment. The role oversees a team of 20+ workers and team leaders, ensures accurate daily packing against Purchase Orders (POs), manages the receiving and shelving of stock, and maintains a clean, safe, and well-organised warehouse during high-volume in/out operations.
The Warehouse Manager will work closely with the Logistics Manager to ensure dispatch readiness for next-day courier collections and will report to the General Operations Manager.
Supervise daily picking, packing, and staging of shipments in accordance with Purchase Orders (POs).
Allocate tasks effectively across packers and team leaders to meet daily operational deadlines.
Ensure all consignments are prepared and ready for courier collection the following day.
Monitor accuracy standards for SKU, quantity, barcode/label correctness, and packaging quality.
Identify operational bottlenecks and implement practical improvements to increase efficiency.
Receiving & Stock Organisation
Supervise receiving of incoming stock, including counts, condition checks, and basic documentation.
Ensure correct put-away and systematic shelving/location discipline for all inventory.
Maintain an orderly warehouse layout and support cycle counts/spot checks when required.
Housekeeping, Safety & Standards
Maintain a neat, tidy, and organised warehouse at all times, particularly during peak activity.
Enforce adherence to health and safety standards and safe handling practices.
Ensure the warehouse environment remains compliant, functional, and professional.
People Management
Lead, coach, and motivate warehouse staff to deliver consistent performance.
Maintain effective communication across team leaders and floor staff.
Support performance management, attendance control, and day-to-day staff matters, including conflict resolution where required.
Reporting & Basic Administration
Compile and submit basic operational reports (daily outputs, exceptions, receiving notes, etc.) as requested.
Use basic computer tools for administration and reporting (Excel/Google Sheets, email, and basic systems).
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum of
3 years'
experience in a warehouse supervision or warehouse management role (order fulfilment/dispatch experience preferred).
Demonstrated experience supervising staff and coordinating daily operational tasks.
Working knowledge of warehouse processes, including receiving, put-away, picking/packing, and dispatch preparation.
Basic computer literacy and ability to produce simple operational reports.
Exposure to courier dispatch schedules and high-volume daily shipping operations is advantageous.
