Warehouse Manager
Job Description
A dynamic and fast-paced FMCG manufacturing and distribution company is looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and optimize all warehouse operations. The successful candidate will oversee inventory control, staff management, and logistics to ensure efficient and accurate distribution of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the full warehouse operation, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching stock
Manage and lead warehouse staff, ensuring high productivity and adherence to company policies
Implement and maintain stock control systems, cycle counts, and stock accuracy
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and hygiene standards
Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics to ensure smooth operations
Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency
Maintain accurate inventory and prepare regular reports for management
Ensure timely and accurate dispatch of goods to customers or branches
Requirements:
Matric (Grade 12) + Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar
Minimum 5 years warehouse management experience in the FMCG or manufacturing industry
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent knowledge of warehouse procedures, health & safety, and inventory systems
Experience with ERP/WMS software (e.g., SAP, Syspro, Sage, etc.)
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Able to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
