Job Description
To oversee warehouse, inventory control, material handling, customer service, transportation and planning workers/labour.To organise the effective storage and distribution of all material by ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at a good cost.
Involved in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- A Formal qualification in Operations Management/Logistics
- Experience in steel industry is of critical importance
- Driverxe2x80x99s License

- Strong Leadership skills;
- A logical and systematic approach to work;
- Good time management ability;
- The ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative
- solutions;
- Commercial awareness and numeracy skills;
- Good computer literacy (MSOFFICE / SAGE system and/or other relevant IT system) and the
- ability to handle electronic data;
- Ability to manage change;
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage
- people;
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written;
- Negotiation and analytical skills;
- A positive attitude to continued learning.
Salary: R35 000 xe2x80x93 R 40 000 CTC per month
