Quoin Rock Wine Estate, a prestigious destination in Stellenbosch known for its exceptional wines and fine dining experience, is seeking highly professional and enthusiastic individuals to join our service team. We are hiring

four (4) dedicated Waitrons

to help us deliver an unforgettable experience to our esteemed guests this season.

About the Role

As a Waiter/Waitress at Quoin Rock, you will be the face of our award-winning hospitality. You will be responsible for ensuring every guest receives impeccable service, making their visit a luxurious and memorable occasion. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about food, wine, and delivering world-class service in an upscale environment.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver outstanding, refined, and personalized table service to all guests. Present menus knowledgeably, providing detailed explanations of dishes, preparation methods, and ingredients. Expertly assist guests with appropriate wine pairings and food choices, showcasing a strong understanding of the estate's offerings. Maintain an immaculately clean, tidy, and organized dining area and work station at all times. Uphold and consistently execute the estate's exceptionally high standards of service and hospitality. Work effectively as part of a cohesive team to ensure smooth service operations.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

Prior Experience:

Proven restaurant or hospitality experience is essential.

Fine dining experience is a distinct advantage.

Communication:

Excellent verbal communication and guest-service skills, with an ability to interact professionally and warmly with a discerning clientele.

Professionalism:

Professional, well-presented appearance and a strong sense of punctuality.

Work Ethic:

Ability to thrive and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure, upscale environment.

Availability:

Must have full availability to work weekends and public holidays as required by the nature of the industry.

Team Player:

A team-oriented mentality and a consistently positive, 'can-do' attitude.
