Job Description
Duties & Responsibilities
For Waiters:
- Greet and welcome guests warmly
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally
- Provide menu recommendations and address customer inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- Ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, and wines
- Maintain a clean and well-organized bar
- Engage with customers, providing friendly and efficient service
- Keep up-to-date with bar inventory, placing orders as needed
- Ensure all alcohol-related regulations are adhered to
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
- South African citizenship (must provide valid ID or passport)
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role (waiter or bartender)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent teamwork and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- A positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
