About Us:

Chard Grill and Wine Bar is a trendy and upscale dining establishment known for our innovative menu and carefully curated wine selection. We pride ourselves on creating a memorable experience for our guests by offering exceptional food, top-notch service, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We are currently looking for a dedicated and personable Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently. Provide recommendations on the menu and wine pairings. Ensure all food and beverages are served in a timely and presentable manner. Monitor guest satisfaction and address any needs or concerns promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the dining room and server station. Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service operations. Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions accurately. Uphold high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with restaurant policies. Upsell menu items and encourage wine pairings to enhance the guest dining experience. Assist in other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role is preferred. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude. Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Knowledge of food and wine pairings is a plus, but not required--training will be provided. A passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Must be able to stand for long periods and carry trays. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
