Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join their caring and mission-driven team in Cape Town. Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday: 08:30 - 16:30
  • Every second Saturday: 08:30 - 12:30

  • No after-hours duties
Remuneration:
  • Salary range: R50,000 - R70,000 per month, depending on experience

Description
  • Conduct thorough assessments, examinations, and diagnoses of patients' medical conditions.
  • Perform surgical procedures, wound care, and treatments.
  • Carry out diagnostic laboratory work, imaging, and ultrasound where required.
  • Prescribe and manage appropriate medical treatments.
  • Promote preventative health through vaccinations and wellness care.
  • Educate and guide clients on optimal pet care and lifestyle choices.
  • Perform humane euthanasia when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics, policies, and legislation.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Minimum Requirements
  • BVSc Degree
  • SAVC Registration
  • Updated CPD Points
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Dedication to continuing education and professional growth.
  • A love for animals and a commitment to their well-being.
