To ensure that all Verification related checks and internal checks are carried out to prevent identity fraud and ensure all SLAs are adhered to.
Responsibilities:
Identifying and verifying new and existing customers at various stages of the application process using a variety of verification and investigative tools and methodologies.
Performing initial investigations and taking immediate corrective action to mitigate losses to the business by suspending suspected and closing confirmed fraudulent accounts.
Respond promptly and effectively to incoming customer enquiries and document submissions through various channels including but not limited to emails and internal systems.
Additional operational tasks assigned by management.
Identify area of concern and escalate accordingly.
Coordinate with internal teams for all requirements related to preliminary KYC checks and document verification.
Requirements:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Own transport
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for engaging with customers and building relationships.
Understanding of the verification channels and requirements.
Experience of working in an ecommerce business.
Strong Attention to details skills.
Extensive knowledge of the full MS Office suite, specifically Excel.
Knowledge of KYC and document requirements in an online gaming environment.
Experience in working for an international contact centre.
Ability to work in different shifts.
Ability to work in a multi-dimensional environment.
