The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years' food and beverage or venue management experience. This is a senior management position.
The candidate must have great experience within managing a property (i.e. Venue/ restaurant - similar) to ensure good maintenance, hygiene and venue protocol of a high standard.
The candidate must be professional at all times and attentive/ available to clients and their requirements.
The candidate must have great people skills and social media experience.
Sales experience is essential, including site visits/viewings.
Good management of a small team but must be able to manage a larger team on an event day.
The candidate will work directly with clients and must manage the clients portfolios and event details.
The candidate must be well respected by industry suppliers.
Management of quotes/ invoices and overseeing these. Great administration skills.
Management of event sheets and finalising suppliers and event details in order for a successful event.
Event management (corporate and wedding)
Management of food and beverage services.
Guest relations is very important to the venue, as we believe strongly in word of mouth and return clients.
Experience in accommodation would be a nice to have.
None smoker and of sober habits.
Hours of hospitality industry can be expected (weekends/holidays/ evenings).
Candidate must have their own reliable vehicle.
