Minimum Qualifications Requirements:

Holder of an NQF Level 3 or higher qualification in Automotive Repair &Maintenance and/or Tyre Repair & Maintenance

Automotive Industry Trade Certificate

Minimum 5 years on the job tyre industry experience

Training/ Facilitation Skills

Assessor trained

POE development and learning evidence collection skills.

Competitive administrative practice

MERSETA registered as an Assessor (Tyre Repair & Maintenance scope with Merseta)

Moderator trained an added advantage

Duties:

Planning, Facilitation and administering training processes:

The individual should be able to:

Facilitate tyre repairing skills training to employed/ unemployed persons of varied ability

Manage simulated workshop environment i.e.: Operation of wheel alignment , wheel balancing and tyre repair related equipment

Implement and facilitate on-going training in line with industry & NQF standards

Carry out an integrated delivery of Unit Standards using an outcome based approach (OBE)

Prepare, review and administer assessments

Administer training registers and practical simulated exposure

Compile exit level projects and monthly reports

Collect and review portfolio's of learning evidence (POE)

Design, monitor and deliver on the implementation plan.

Provide learners with an understanding of the Tyre Industry they will be pursuing a career in.

Base line assess candidate to check understanding

Skills and personal qualities

Be able to explain content clearly both verbally and written

Be friendly, approachable and professional with team ethics

Have a good background in the Automotive & Tyre Repair and Maintenance

Be able to relate knowledge to everyday situations in a practical way.

Computer Literate

Be able of thinking analytically and recall detailed information (especially when doing research, planning and administrative analysis.)

Be versatile in your delivery and have innovative ways to deliver to varied groups of learners.

Pay: Up to R25000,00 per month
