Our client seeks a skilled TREASURY DEALER with a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar role. This role requires an individual with a completed B.Com or Relevant Financial Markets Degree.

The purpose of the role is the execution of Foreign Exchange and Cash management for our clients clients. You will work as a member of the foreign exchange and money market dealing desk team, executing clients' requests, taking into account client mandates, and market information, together with associated administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Foreign exchange execution (spots, forwards, swaps)
• Money market cash execution
• Managing foreign exchange exposures, money market portfolios
• Liaison with clients regarding cash, foreign exchange requirements
• Liaison with banks regarding market movements, products
• Monitor news, market information and research
• Contribute to daily and weekly economic reports
• Maintenance of market rates environment
• Provision of rates and economic data to clients

Requirements:

Qualifications:

• B. Com or Relevant Financial Markets Degree - completed
• ACI Dealing certificate an added advantage
• FSB Regulatory qualification would be of advantage

Experience

• One to two yearsxe2x80x99 foreign exchange trading experience in wholesale

market is essential * Money market trading

• Foreign exchange, money and capital market knowledge xe2x80x93 instruments,

pricing, reporting * Understanding of macro-economics and business environment

• Basic economic report writing
• Treasury administration queries handling beneficial
• MS Word and Excel
• Technical analysis will be an added advantage
• Track record of independent work

Hours
Normally an 8-hour working day, but this is dependent on clientsxe2x80x99
business needs and market activity.
You must be willing to put in extra time and effort to assist other team
members during busy periods

Salary

Will be linked to experience and skill

R25 000 - R54 000 per month
