Job Summary My client is a leading multinational Construction and Manufacturing company operating across the African continent.

They are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Treasury Analyst to join their team and take on overall responsibility for treasury management for the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

This role is based in Midrand, Gauteng

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct cash flow forecasting and analysis to ensure optimal cash and liquidity management.
• Analyze and execute hedging and funding activities across various financial instruments including Forex, loans, and deposits.
• Ensure adequate funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
• Manage banking relationships and negotiate contracts with banks while providing regular cost benchmarks.
• Identify opportunities and implement improvements in treasury-related business processes.
• Update and maintain the Treasury Policy to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee Exchange Control Applications and Renewals to ensure compliance.
• Prepare and deliver timely treasury reporting.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the digitization journey of the treasury department.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of the treasury management system and related process improvements.
• Lead the treasury month-end closing process.
• Complete the Groupxe2x80x99s monthly debt report and foreign currency report.
• Develop and enforce treasury policies, procedures, and controls.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance and address any audit findings.

Qualifications:

• Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in treasury operations, cash management, and financial analysis.
• Proven experience working with African countries (non-negotiable)
• Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management techniques.
