Treasury Accountant

Our client has an opportunity available for a Treasury Accountant based in the Southern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

Ensure and monitor compliance to all trade regulations and changes.
Keep up to date with Exchange Regulation and Reporting requirements.
Ensure that changes are communicated, implemented and maintained with the business.
Ensure that all Outward payments are compliant in terms of the Exchange Control Manual.
Internal Audit on Import and Export Documentation to determine the effectiveness of compliance procedures or policies implemented by Group Office.
Maintain and ensure Customs Clearance processes and procedures are being followed.
Depreciation and wear and tear must be calculated and kept updated.
Prepare monthly tax schedules and upload into tax software.
Prepare specific general ledger reconciliations in the area of responsibility.
Assist financial managers and financial accountants on ad-hoc duties.
File information and documents that relate to tasks in an orderly manner.
