Job Description
Unitrans is seeking a Transport Officer to join the operation in Rustenburg, North West. Duties will include:
- Ensure 100% fleet and driver availability.
- Ensure 100% fleet cleanliness and maintenance in line with workshop
- Grade 12.
- Valid code 14 license with valid PRDP.
- Minimum 3 yearsxe2x80x99 experience in passenger transport.
- Computer literacy.
- Shift work.
- Able to work under pressure during peak periods - 24/7 operation.
- Clear criminal record and must be medically fit (Full).
- Able to work alone.
- Able to supervise staff.
- Ensure 100% fleet and driver availability.
- Ensure 100% fleet cleanliness and maintenance in line with workshop
- Ensure compliance to all customer requirements.
- Manage absenteeism and arrange substitute drivers.
- Ensure compliance to all company policies and disciplinary code.
- Ensure safety file is maintained and always kept up to date.
- Issue job cards.
- Ensure punctuality of vehicles to all shift allocations in line with
- Maintain good customer service with all stakeholders.
- Reporting to Route Controller.
