Job Purpose
The Department of Economic Development and Tourism has an opportunity for a suitable qualified and competent individual to render an effective and efficient transport service.
Minimum Requirements
An appropriate 3-year National Diploma/B-Degree (equivalent or higher qualification); A minimum of 1 year experience in transport administration; A valid (Code B or higher) driving licence.

Key Performance Areas
Render advise and administrative support on transport, Coordinate and facilitate maintenance and servicing of vehicles, Coordinate monthly GMT invoice payments and Conduct employee supervision.
Competencies
Knowledge of the following:
Transport management systems and government vehicles usage policies; Fleet maintenance and control procedures; Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulation and Transport Circulars.
Skills needed:
Written and verbal communication; Decision-making; Planning, Analytical thinking; Computer literacy (fleet database, MS Office); Report writing; Organising and co-ordination.
Remuneration
R 325 101 - R 382 959 per annum (Salary level 7)

Notes
Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit documentation for verification purposes and criminal record vetting.
