Position: Transport Manager
Location: Humansdorp, Eastern Cape
Salary: R540K- 600K per Annum

Key Performance Areas:

• To effectively manage all transport functions.
• Annual CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
• The successful candidate will be responsible managing fuel consumption and other related maintenance costs incurred by managing a successful fleet.
• Candidate will further ensure the overall efficiency and effectiveness of all transport operations and ensure the statutory compliance associated with effectively managing the company's transport division.
• Candidate should be driven and committed to delivering exceptional customers services to all related stakeholders and ensure that all assignments , and projects delegated or assigned by the General Manager is completed timeously.
• Candidate should possess exceptional leadership skills to effectively delegate authority and responsibilities to subordinates to ensure smooth running of day-day to operations.

• Successful candidate will be matriculated, coupled with a relevant Tertiary Qualification in Logistics or Road Transport Management.
• Candidate should have at least a minimum of 5 years relevant management experience, obtained in a transport environment with accountability for a fleet, consisting of a minimum of 15 heavy fleet vehicles.
• Experience obtained in a FMCG industry will be advantageous.
• Candidate should also at least 3 years relevant experience and sound knowledge of workshop procedures and preventative maintenance processes.
• EC Driverxe2x80x99s license will be a benefit, but it is not an essential requirement, however Code B is essential.
• Candidate should be computer literate, with advance computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook as well as exposure to Tracker software and Transport systems.
• Candidate should also possess Good communications skills, both written and verbal.
• Candidate should have a strong background on how to effectively handle with HR/IR related issues and be able to enforce health and Safety policies and ensure compliance thereof.
