Purpose of the Job

To support and ensure that all drivers are properly trained, that they follow the regulations of the road, and that they adhere to the Company's procedures



Assist with tracking of all company vehicles at all times

Job Objectives

Directing drivers daily to the correct premises of clients for the deliveries. Ensuring that maps with the right directions to the customer's location are copied for drivers when they report to the office. Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are serviced within the allowed service intervals. Ensuring staff under your control maintain a high level of service to customers. Ensure maximum utilization of vehicles, planning of loads, routes, fuel, etc.

Qualifications

Grade 12 qualification
###

Experience

3 - 4 years of experience in Logistics/transportation industry Experience in route planning and the management of collections and deliveries
###

Knowledge and Skills

Essential:

Good problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills Exceptional organization, time management and multitasking abilities Proficient computer skills (MS excel; Office 365) Great communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

Knowledge of Trackmatic and Mixtelematics systems
