Hire Resolve's Client is currently looking for a Training Officer to join their mining company based in the Northern Cape. The candidate will be responsible for delivering training to support safe and efficient plant operations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver metallurgical training programs to ensure operational employees are competent in processing plant procedures and metallurgical best practices.
- Conduct skills gap analyses and workplace assessments to identify training needs and ensure compliance with relevant legislative and safety requirements.
- Facilitate on-the-job coaching and mentoring for plant operators and metallurgical assistants to improve technical knowledge and safe work performance.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through regular feedback, assessments, and reporting to line management.
- Maintain accurate training records and ensure alignment with internal standards, external accreditation bodies, and mining industry regulations.
- Grade 12
- ODETDP NQF Level 5
- Degree or Diploma in Metallurgy
- 5 years' experience in a similar position with the metallurgy department
- Valid Driver's License
- Salary: Negotiable
- Paid Time Off (PTO) (If Applicable)
